Gluten Free Dark Chocolate Super food Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups gluten free oats (I recommend Bob’s Redmill)
  • 4 pitted dates (I get mine from Costco)
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup flax 
  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon Maca Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Cacao Powder
  • 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • A pinch of sea salt

Directions:

  1. Place your flax in a bowl with water in the fridge for a half hour before you start making these to create your thickening agent
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  3. In your food processor, place oats, dates, almond butter, chia seeds, maca powder, cacao powder, greek yogurt, cinnamon and sea salt
  4. Blend until creamy
  5. Add in your flax/water mixture once it is thick
  6. Blend until creamy
  7. Place your chocolate chips and blend for 10 seconds so the chips aren’t fully blended
  8. Place your mixture in a non-stick bread pan
  9. Place in the oven for 20-25 minutes
  10. Enjoy 🙂
  11. ** I recommend eating this warm and topping it with extra almond butter!
